Apartment and House Rentals by Lynne Snow was established in 2014, but I started renting my own properties over 30 years ago. I saw there was a high demand for my services, as people were arriving here and had no knowledge of where to start looking. If you are looking to invest in property, I can offer my input for what you may get for rental amounts, or how sought after the areas are.

Business is in my blood. Growing up in my family’s bridal boutique, I learned at an early age what it means to be a dedicated entrepreneur. "Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you" was on every receipt from 1967 to 1991, and is the motto that defines my whole career. From managing The House of Bridal Fashions and being the personalized complaint department (I looked after all bridal orders), I developed a deep understanding of people. I also opened a cafe on Portland Street in Dartmouth from 1990 to 1991, then went on to do bookkeeping at Frank Longstaff Surveying.

I obtained my Real Estate License in 1994, and became Liz Tierney's assistant (my Mother) for a number of years for Coldwell Banker Associates. I have dealt with rentals throughout most of my career, but at this time I started full-time and I became a Certified Apartment Manager through IPOANS in 2017.

 

For me, this business is really about building genuine friendships. Business relationships are where many of my good friendships started - whether as an owner, or a tenant. It could be due to my Scottish heritage, as connecting with people is what I truly live for. I was born in Scotland, and Nova Scotia is my heart and home. I love sharing this province’s unique charm and helping others fall in love with it just as I have.
